We’ve never been afraid of a challenge at Amadeus. We actively chase them in fact. It’s the reason we’re now running more external events than ever before. Expertly headed up by Darren Proud and his brigade, these occasions take place everywhere from historic abbeys to international golf tournaments. And much like the events, no two of Darren’s menus are ever quite the same.
Since swapping five-star hotels and two-rosette restaurants for Amadeus over a decade ago, Darren has overseen hundreds of events. Some big, some swanky, some famous, but all delivered with his signature can-do attitude. It’s a trait that’s essential when working in often unpredictable conditions, alongside the ability to meticulously plan for months in advance.
