Amadeus Wins RHS Catering Contract for Hampton Court Palace Flower Show

In a great start to 2011, Amadeus is celebrating after winning a three year catering contract for the Royal Horticultural Society's (RHS) Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. The Show is the UK's second biggest flower show after RHS Chelsea, and so required a thorough and competitive tender process.

Amadeus will be showcasing their exemplary food, quality and service, and creating bespoke menus and catering concepts, in conjunction with the RHS team.
Leading a team of top Amadeus chefs, the contract delivery will be managed by Neil Ashton, Deputy Executive Chef, who has been with Amadeus for 22 years.
The success of beating off strong competition from leading UK contract caterers was not only due to the great food quality and innovation, but also the additional services that Amadeus are able to provide. Data analysis performed by The NEC Group's Insight team enabled highly effective menu planning and, working with the RHS, will help to really understand the customer profile.
Caroline Hills - Head of Shows Operations of RHS said: "We are absolutely delighted to be working with Amadeus - they are an award-winning team, and inspired us with their approach, their menus and their passion.
"We felt that Amadeus was the outstanding choice, having had the experience of catering for over 900 events each year, and for millions of visitors across their venues and events.
"Amadeus is a great match for us and we're confident they will provide a fantastic service for the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show".
Sally Davis, Managing Director of Amadeus said, "This is a fabulous start to 2011, and we are delighted to be working with the RHS on such a prestigious event.
"Having won an extremely competitive pitch is testament to the evidence that Amadeus can give of managing some of the most complex catering operations in the UK. We really enjoyed developing this tender, and working to provide insight into the RHS' vast and varied customer base.
"We are extremely fortunate to have one of the largest event customer databases ourselves, as well as a great Insight team who interpret customer behaviour to give a unique approach to menu design. We are really looking forward to working with the RHS on building this event, attracting new visitors and ensuring that the Show maintains its place on the 'must-do' list of summer events."
