The Stables Coffee shop
Rolling meadows, woodland creatures, rare plants. You’ll look out on to to them all at The Stables Coffee Shop, which sits in the beautiful Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park in south Belfast. Covering more than 128 acres, the park provides an ideal base for exploring the nearby tourist attractions and Lagan Valley Regional Park.
Unsurprisingly, afternoon tea is a firm favourite at The Stables. However, arrive early enough and the Ulster Fry breakfast with signature fried soda bread is not to be missed either. Of course, neither are the home baked scones, indulgent cakes and fresh deli sandwiches. Still, at least you won’t need to venture far to walk off the calories.
